can i do this from the top of the trans or do i have to tear the whole thing apart?

i just replaced the seals in the bottom of my pump you can pull the shaft out the bottom with out taking the pump apart but remember the location it comes out hard because there is a o-ring that holds it in. the seals ore only about 5$ apeice and they are easy to change.

i tested the trans pressure and when i first start it up the pressure is 170 but after about ten minutes it slowly goes down and eventulally it goes all the way to zero. also when i put in gear, when the pressure is good [at 170] it will drop off to 30psi is this right ? i would be graetful for any ...

how do i check the power shift pressure

hello. i'm stumped i have a 1982 455a crawler loader that i bought with the asumption that everything was good but after using it for about 10 minuutes it quits moving just like you put it in nuetral, i changed the oil twice but still didn't help. i also keep getting water or so it seems in the oil....
