did the machine run until you filled the tank the first time? are you following the procedure for bleeding the system, follow the manual if you have one, digitup is right that setup can be a sucker to get the air out of. my 1010 refused to prime for me,I had to pressurize the fuel tank"about 5 psi" an...

lots of times you can hook up with a truck on a return trip or split the cost with someone hauling something the other way.
what kind of shape is the machine overall, the undercarriage is the most costly thing to repair/replace.

lavoy is right, didn't know they were a dual cup setup, you learn something everyday.
they can work fine in one direction and have a massive leak going the other.

farms right,if the cylinders can pick up the rear of the machine you don't have internal leaks in a cylinder,do you have good power when pressing it down into the ground,it should drive the teeth into the ground pretty easy. the amount of leakage for it to drop that quick should be pretty easy to fi...

clutch adjustment

yeah,it sure doesn't take much to throw the adjustment out,my 1010 had bent throwout linkage, someone must have used two hands and just yanked and yanked till it was bent  ,bet they had a sore back after. the entire clutch was rusted into one part,it was useless to yank at the handle. glad you ...

Gary, are you using new steel and fiber discs,if the steels are a little rusty or the fibers a little swollen or puffy,it will change the finger adjustment alot, the clutches I have done have been very easy to dial in with the gauge.

the right side is probably the only side pulling, left side is just slipping, was there any sign of oil in the clutch compartments?
make sure your adjustments on the clutches are right,if thats not it your going to have to go back into that left side.

Stan, your 100% right 350/450 that are straight and not all tore up are hard to find.
most of the ones I see have dead undercarriages, engine or just busted up and welded a hundred times.
