HI ohmgman; I'm not the expert there are some post on here for the same thing you are asking. Most say clean the steel disc and replace the fiber. You have it apart that way you won't have to do it again.Bearing in pic looks rusty wouldn't hurt to change too. clean it up and make sure the rest is ok...

Hi Brett I had a problem moving my 430c, not in to a building off the trailer and 200 ft. The slickest thing is two pieces of the plastic mowboard that is used on the snowplows that the highway depts use.Slides nice on grass,frozen ground and wont hurt concrete might leave an orange stain. hi Joe If it was 180 out it wouldn't run. Could be water in the gas,or running rich. Depends how hard you were running at the time too.Maybe cleaning the plugs might help.Points could need gapping too. There are a lot of variables. Mailtrain

Looks good Lavoy, Below the insturment panel under the choke button there is a cut out, is there a reason for this.My 430c has the same cut out.I thought someone had broken a piece out. Dean

Hugo it does make a difference on the hoses. You want it hooked so when the lever is pushed forward the blade goes down,if it has a float position it won't work.If reversed when you pull the lever to the up position it will drop fast. If pump is leaking externally it is a gasket or o-ring problem,if...
