I'm not 100% sure on these valve bodies, but sometimes the only differrence from one to the other is the actual spool configuration. I made a homade puller reinstalled the outer drive bearing figuring I would have to sacrafice it> Could not pop it loose. Not sure if I can get a torch in there on the shaft area, would be tough to get heat right on it. Any ideas? If I do get it out, what can I expect? Any help would be greatly app...

There's a hole on the opposite side of the cylinder from the bolt. If you pull the bolt all the way out be sure and get the ball when the grease comes out. Probably a standard ball bearing but........I know someone who got awfully messy looking for one :x

You can just back out the idle-speed screw and control engine idle speed with the hand throttle. This way, when you jam it down, the engine will shut of. Not knowing any better.....Could you take the cap off, drill out the stud and replace it with a rod /spring assembly to make a manual shutoff?
