If you aren't putting big hours or working in rough conditions then the old unsealed track is just fine .If you want toget resale on a newer machine than sealed and lubed is the way to go .If you can listen to it there is not that much difference in the sound of sealed after listening to the machine...

I had one of those apart one time and it had a spring on one side with none on the other .And it worked well in the steering department at the time .As for the clutch pack my Dad was great for if he had enough extra space he would put an extra steel face in the clutch .Might not be right but it work...

I have never bought new chains without new grousers attached .It is cheaper than buying bolts and torquing them down to speck .I know that the dollars seem more but in the end you will be up some $ and you will like the new grousers more than your old welded up ones .As a contractor I look at it dif...

I have found that if I were to find oil impregnated into dry clutch packs I would take the time and replace the oil soaked faces they tend to swell with oil and when they heat up next time they just slip over again when they slip they heat and more oil is swetted out to the surface and the situation...
