well you be the judge The 450Es were not the best machine in the 450 Deere series and the 450Gs were the best machine in the 450 Deere series as far as I am concerned.as far as differences in machine the 450E tracks with the 24 inch grousers are better for traction in soft going and the 16 inch pads...

If that linkage gets wore out you can have problems centering it not only the linkage but also the shaft is a big problem neutralizing out can be a scary problem on the old Deere Hydro's they will wander off on there own so be careful !! don't leave it idle and not be in it .Digitup.

Don't pull the head remove the oil pan the sleeves will eat out on the motor so pull the pan and see if the water is from the lower o ring seal on the sleeve I know that sounds like bad news but all newer diesels have that issue from time to time ,Digitup.
