I have a 450c loader/backhoe and my manual suggests SAE 30 in the motor and AW 68 in the Trans, finals, and hydraulic system. Are all

I would grind the crack out and fill it full of weld (nickel) by a good
qualified welder that has welded up cast before. If the crack is not
already open or too long, it should hold just fine.

I think you could probably weld that up with nickel rods.

John Deere 450C Transmission

I have a 1974 John Deere 450c that needs a new transmission housing. Mine has been cracked and I need to replace it. Does anyone know where
I can get a used one for a reasonable price? I have located a couple, but
they are some what expensive. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
