I just took my clutch packs apart and found very little wear on them, most of the wear was in the forward reverse pack. I'll replace the 2 disc next to the piston in forward, and 1 in reverse. Milky fluid

More than likely water came from condensation over time, the right way would be to open each line, on each cylinder while using the correct lever to cycle the ram.

555 transmision overhaul

I have been able to find the parts I needed but a little confused about what disc I should use. Mother Deere wants $126. dollars apiece, I found some for around $50 down to around $20 has anyone had any experience w/after market disc?

Finally pulled my transmission down and looking for parts the sealing rings broke on some, became unattached on others and wore into the oil collectors. can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've been reading about it, its got me a little nervious I plan on doing the work myself and not quite sure what to look for or how far to dig in. I guess I'll just take the plunge and learn thanks for pointing me in a direction. Dave

On start pressure is about 60 psi it dosn't seem to slip, forward or reverse shift seems fine. 1 hour after pushing temp is on the boarder and the preasure is about 10 lbs I get the faint smell of hot hyd oil.
