Hmmm. More eBay machinations, it's a strange place. Most of the stuff I "watch" on eBay doesn't sell. "Reserve not met" or "Seller has relisted this item" is usually the case. I wonder how they got the "SOLD" banner on their picture? That's pretty good. Very little of what I "watch" on eBay actually...

There were SEVENTY bids on this thing. Seller and eBay claim it sold for 7200 or so. Seems impressive to me. I'm amazed.

440 on eBay up to 7200

I've been watching this one on eBay. It's up to $7200. They often "return from the sold" when the buyer doesn't show up. This will be interesting.

wrench icons under our names

Forgive my stupid question but what the heck do the little wrench icons under our names mean? I looked in FAQ's, Search and my own profile, I guess it was discussed while I was in another universe.

I can NEVER remember how to wire in parallel versus series. I'm now convinced that ignorance cost me my new glow plugs. This was a great message from Lavoy on the subject of 12V parallel batteries: "Okay, look at it this way. If you hook both negative posts and both positive posts together, the wire...

Here's where the inserts go through the drawbar. Remember however that the rear part of the bellypan also bolts up here. Here's a picture of the left side. All you can see is the glint of the threads in darkness beneath the horizontal yellow bar... but that's the insert that goes through the drawbar...

Hey Mister Tiger; thanks for your quick response. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be asking that question again. I'm working on my final drive inserts, which is a question down the list of postings. Sorry to mislead. I'm asking why there are any inserts at all. There has to be a reason for them. They ar...

I'm back working on these drawbar inserts. From Tiny's detailed explanation of how they work, there's one thing not clear to me: what holds the insert in? Do I run a the smaller size 7/16 bolt into the smaller threads deep in the final drive housing just to hold them in place?
