Thanks Gil. I see what you mean. I've got a 26" screen and it bleeds off on it. I will investigate. Could this be any more difficult? No wonder there are so few pictures. Eccch. I thought the instructions provided in the "how-to" posting by Tigerhaze said Photobucket would automatically re-size - so...

Here are pictures of my broken casting that's been all butchered up by somebody with a stick welder. You can see the clamps aren't going to move either. They're welded to the round crossmember. http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah320/olrobk/200458e0-99f8-4d35-a375-bf55d7a15145_zpsytrrf2dv.jpg [/UR...

I'm going to experiment to try to figure out how to post useful pictures on this site.
For those interested, here's a link to my 1010 Google album. If you click on the caption, you can easily see that and the picture. Please let me know if it works - or doesn't.

Professor Stan is correct (as he usually is) in his last post "attach known-good batteries". After a day spent trying simple fixes, including pulling the entire relay off to bench test it (it worked fine), I decided to waste my time draw testing the batteries, which I use on my other 1010 in spite o...

Now I need to figure out why the 24V starter doesn't work. I can hear the so-called "series parallel switch" relay clicking loudly but starter doesn't turn. I have confirmed that there IS power to the starter UNTIL the relay clicks. Then there is no power. I can't find anything on this site about ho...

1010 engine issue
I just drained a quart of bright green antifreeze from my 1010 loader that's been sitting in my yard for a couple years. It was pure antifreeze before a hint of motor oil showed up in the stream from the drain plug hole. This is (was) a beautiful motor that starts, runs and has great oil pressure, d...

I popped the drain plugs on my other 1010 today. It's been sitting under a tarp in my yard for a couple of years. About a cup of clear drinking water came out of the transmission, followed by some mocha tranny oil. The reverser had zero water in its bottom, just lovely tractor fluid. The oil pan had...
