Thank you for reasuring my thoughts on this. I also have a 93A book and it shows a picture of the valve- 3 ports, 1 for pressure, 1 for closed center, 1 for open center. My valve also hase 3 ports. I have tried switching the pressure side but not the return. Maybe I should move the return over to th...

Looking for a Hyd/ Valve for Backhoe
A while back I posted about a Wain Roy backhoe that I purchased for my 350 bucket dozer. After several attempts to make the hydraulics work, and some research, I've come to the conclusion that I need an "OPEN CENTER" valve. I think the one on this backhoe must be a closed center and can't be switche...

Yes I am familiar with open center v.s. closed center as I read in my JD manuals. My hoses have a male end and a female end and when y...

can we make a deal?
My machine is a bucket dozer so not sure about the mounts. I would think they would work. Maybe if you could take a better picture of just one mount. I may be interested in the set up if we can get together on a price and work out a deal with the trucking from Lavoy. How big is the bucket? You can s...

looking for a backhoe attachment
Doesn't have to be John Deere. Could also be a small 3 pt hitch attachment in which I could convert. Only need it for my own use so doesn't have to be fancy. Would prefer to be in the midwest. Thanks

I'm currently rebuilding one of my steering cluthes. I would strongly suggest going on ebay and buying a service manual and parts manual as I did. What a big help! The foot clutch has nothing to do with the steering clutches it is a separate clutch located behind the engine. The steering clutches ar...

Well it wasn't very pretty, but I did finally get it out. By pulling out on the hub, this spread the pressure plate webing. This gave me enough access to get in there with the torch and snip off each arm of the plate allowing to remove the outer hub and leave the center gear on the shaft. I then use...

I've actually got alot of the brake parts and linkage remove to help gain some access. So far after soaking, heating, soaking and heating some more, I can now see about 1/2" of the shaft. My puller gave out so I need to sit down and make a new heavier one. Its the only way I can think of to put enou...

Model # is T43ED Serial # is 098077T I've been soaking the area around the throw out bearing for a couple days now with penetrating fluid. Tried my puller again and still can't budge it. Right now I've decided to leave pressure on the puller for a day or so while I continue to soak it. Any help here...

Hello all. I'm new here. I just bought a 350 crawler loader with a diesel. I kinda got flambuskulled when I bought it. When I got it home found it needed alot more repairs then orginally told.
