450B injector pump

Well I pulled the timing cover off my pump and saw the mouse turds/coffee grounds under the cover. I have a 450B non turbo charged. I flushed it out by letting the diesel drip out. I'm sure this debris did not just happen in the last couple of days it may have been there for some time. If I continue...

Thanks Jason. I'm going to have to get the manual or at least a schematic of the pump to identify the return line.

It has been sugested that the John Deere injector pump manual can be downloaded for free off the internet. I can't seem to find it. Has anyone downloaded it, if so do you have the link or web site?

Looses power and stalls

Hi all. My 450B started acting up yesterday. I was clearing snow for about an hour when the rpm started falling off and the machine stalled. After sitting a couple of minutes I restarted it. It ran fine for a few minutes than slowly stalled again. I let it sit a minute than rstarted and drove a litt...

Just to follow up. I will send you my address in a more private way. Don't be fooled by my moniker. It says 450C, but I was fooled when I bought the machine. It is a 450B.

Hi Lavoy. If bottom rollers are available, how much would they be each?

injector pump

I have just rebuilt and replaced the water pump on my 450b. The job wasn't too bad and it is working well with no leaks. I did notice some diesel fuel leaking at one of the bolt conections on the injector pump. I tried to tighten it but it was quite tight. I don't want to break it off. Are there som...

It wouldn't hurt to drain and refill the system. I think I will.
