Yea, those other forums don't even come close to this one. Years back there was Big Deans website, a retired MF industrial mechanic, but he has passed and the site is now gone. I have 3 MF industrials, all bought new between 1974 & 1977, hard to kill em if you maintain them, same as anything else.

massey ferguson industrial tractors

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know of a site similar to this one that deals with massey ferguson industrial tractors.

for placement of pin, I try for 2 o'clock or 10 o'clock on the sprocket depending on side obviously. Your master may have been welded into place in the past, pretty common around here anyway. If so grind off the weld carefully and beat it out.

I've done brake adjustments on my 350B many times, 450 may be the same, very easy to do, but instructions are extremely important. I used my manual, easy job. But until you get your manual, search this site for a post by Leonard L. This guy knows his stuff, his profile will tell you why, anyway he p...

brake band adjustment 350B

put new brake bands on, did the adjustments to clutch and brakes per the manual. All seemed to work fine, loaded machine on trailer, got to the field, unloaded it. Now she goes forward and steers fine in forward, but put into reverse and feels like brakes are applied and she barely wants to move in ...

Thanks to Leonard for the bolts. They are perfect. Now that I really looked at the bolts and where they are positioned I understand Deeres reasoning for using these special bolts. They need to be used, without them I can see that the load they are to support wouldn't be done properly. I think the me...

350B rear crossmember bolts

Want to finish up brake job today. I switched finals from one side to the other because of stipped holes. I called Deere to get some new bolts that attach rear crossbar to finals. Each side calls for 2 standard 3/4" bolts & 2 Special 3/4 bolts. Found out that Deere wants $56.00 each for these specia...

final drive housing 350B

is it ok to switch final drives from one side to the other? Reason for this question is that I found 3 stripped 3/4 inch bolts that attach rear crossbar to the housing on left side. According to my parts book both sides are same. If I can switch sides it would give the unstriped holes where I need t...

track tension springs broken on a 350B

I have broken springs on both sides, outers for sure, inners maybe. Should all be replaced at the same time? It would make sense to me to do so, but I don't want to have the extra expense parts wise if not needed. I've never done this before, it doesn't look too tricky at all according to my manual,...

I too had it happen because I didn't check the track tension. It happened in a compost pit so it wasn't pleasent. But anyway, the track was obviosly too loose, so it could jump the wheel. We dragged the crawler out of the pit with a 175 International very slowly so as to not make matters worse and t...

You would hope the parts guy can look it up, but anyway what you will need is a new flywheel and the new isolator. The new isolator is one piece, no springs and stuff like the old style.

I would say no, you'd have to remove way too much material from the old flywheel, if you'd even want to, wouldn't be worth trying it.

I upgraded my 350B last september. I don't the invoices handy rite now, but I want to say it was about $1,800 bucks. A new flywheel,as jdmaris stated, is needed. I needed one anyway, when the old crappy style isolator let loose it took flywheel teeth with it, so instesd of just replacing the ring an...

I never even attempted to take the radiator out without taking the nose off my 350. Just from lookng at it I don't think you can, at least not easily, besides, taking the nose off isn't hard at all and really takes very little time with the right equipment
