Just wondering if the gear type reverser is the same on a rubber tire as a crawler? My reverser has some pretty good damage on my 57 420 and a shop here thinks he has a reverser from a rubber tire that will work. Is this possible?

It looks like most of the shafts in the reverser assembly are worn out where they were in conact with bearings....... I suppose they are the expenive parts of the reverser....
