350B for sale
As much as I don't want to it's time to sell my 350B. It runs good but needs some steering couch work. Needs a little love on the hydraulics also, just some hoses. I believe it is a 1972 year model. It has a drott 4in1 bucket and ROPS. It's located near Austin tx. I'm asking 4,500 or best offer for ...

That could definitely be it, where would I look to find where to change or fill the reverser fluid and filter? Is there a list of fluids I can just change them all at once, probably needs to be done anyways. (other than engine oil, fuel, and antifreeze) Thanks, pictures coming very soon of all the w...

I see, either way the final drive is probably coming off, and these pictures will show you exactly what to expect! Before you do any work pull the seat off and open the inspection plate, with a flashlight you can clearly see the top of the brake drum and the band, it may be something obvious and sim...

If I understand you correctly you can steer to the left but not to the right, I had a simular problem. My left clutch was slipping so bad that it wouldn't grab enough to turn to the right. I'd pull it against a immovable object and if your tracs both spin its not the clutch, the track that doesn't m...

Thank you for the information!!! I ended up getting the pressure plate set properly and then after less than 3 hours I had her all back together (by myself) and out of the shop. I tryed to adjust the steering clutch per the book but I found it to loeave out the part about setting the brake band so e...

How would I go about check that? Where can I get the guage/tool to check my pressure plate? I pulled the final drive today and have a set of fiber disks, I measured the metal disks and they are 0.095 inches and not pitted too bad. If someone can give me some pointers on this pressure plate and throw...

Alternative fuels?
Has anyone used alternative fuels for some of the older machines (350B)? I've got about 150 gallons of vegitable oil that I was considering mixing with some diesel.
What are ya'lls thoughts?

350B clutch frustrations
I pulled the left side final drive off my machine last year to change the plates because the clutch was frozen (or so I thought), turns out there was a good amount of rust but all the plates seperated when I took them out and were all in pretty good shape. My redneck neighbor that is usually a great...

We had a plan for that as well, the D8 has gotten stuck before and we had an huge old excavator on stand by. Last time the D8 got stuck they used the excavator and picked it up out of the mud and set it on dry land. Thats actually the machine we are thinking of using for the next redneck day...car g...
