Lavoy, finally this weekend i got around to installing the pressure plate you sent. and im happy to confirm that the 420 is working as designed. She pushes nicely, only problem now is getting to all the jobs around the farm that needs to be done. thanks again for all your support and all the 420 guy...

thankyou lavoy, after checking the pressure plate i found that all three of the finger springs had lost tention one more than the other two i am able to push them in with using my fingers. next question can the springs be replaced or do i need a complete pressure plate whatever the case im sure you ...

Lavoy, over the weekend i split the tractor again, this time paying more attention to the clutch and plate. the disk looks great but the pressure plate springs seem a little loose there is play on all the springs, could this be the reason the machines track stop under a decent size load thanks Tim
