Rusty gas tank ??

Fought unreliable starting on my MC for several years. Finaly replaced the ign. switch and it's started like a champ ever since, 6 V battery and all. Don't know if anyones interested but theres been a 1946 D4 on the Cincinnati Craigslist for several weeks now. The price keeps comming down each week. It's at 2,200.00 now. Pictures don't look too bad ?

Prayers are with everyone and the high water, hope the cold slows it down. Live east of Cincinnati on the Ohio river, know what floods are. Cold weather is a blessing because it slows it down.....there is a saying though that "the river always comes back to get it's ice" More often than not it does....

Pretty common knowledge....but maybe worth repeating. Always need to be careful with a torch around a closed drum. Heat can vaporize remnants and flame can ignite with explosive results. Thats why I've always been told that you're always supposed to cut the top out with a chisel and never use a torch.

When I replaced the clutch/pressure plate on my MC I sometimes had trouble changing gears especialy if I left the shifter in neutral too long. Seemed as though the clutch would disengage but the transmission would keep turning a little, (increasing RPM"s with time in neutral). Also seemed to be wors...

Just picked up a Mead Speedcat crawler to keep my MC company. Anybody know where I can get any information on this like manuals, etc. and of course parts sources.......Thanks, Roger B.
