If it won't turn left, then problem is most likely in rignt side final drive. Would look there first.

We had older dock lifts where I worked that specified 20 wt. non detergent oil. Also think I've seen 20 wt. non det. specified in some of the older tractor manuals. (non detergent to avoid foaming). Problem now days is to find 20 wt. non detergent.....usually have to order.

Not mentioned yet, going from 6 to 12 volts, is the risk of damage to the starter or ring gear from the 6 v. starter engaging harder.
A 6 volt system, in good repair, should give no trouble starting and charging, as they have for the last 60+ years. JMHO

They're 4 bolt pads....Also, I tried to count the # of links and only come up with 27. Any idea as to w...

Prayers are with everyone and the high water, hope the cold slows it down. Live east of Cincinnati on the Ohio river, know what floods are. Cold weather is a blessing because it slows it down.....there is a saying though that "the river always comes back to get it's ice" More often than not it does....

Pretty common knowledge....but maybe worth repeating. Always need to be careful with a torch around a closed drum. Heat can vaporize remnants and flame can ignite with explosive results. Thats why I've always been told that you're always supposed to cut the top out with a chisel and never use a torch.

When I replaced the clutch/pressure plate on my MC I sometimes had trouble changing gears especialy if I left the shifter in neutral too long. Seemed as though the clutch would disengage but the transmission would keep turning a little, (increasing RPM"s with time in neutral). Also seemed to be wors...
