I'm not a very experienced engine builder, but what was the inside diameter of connecting rod bearings. You said the crank journals are good but what you didnt give is the clearance.

Just curious

Okay than Digitup2 you will just love this. I mentioned I need the machine running, this is why. I am on vacation this coming week. I rarely ever take time off just for r&r. I drive truck, about 2600 miles a week. I enjoy just getting out out of the truck and doing some real manual labor. I did for ...

One more question. I dropped the radiator of to be repaired. The repair shop wanted to know what PSI cap I need because they are going to replace the neck. I called my wife to look it up in the parts manual and she said it really didn't say. The repair manual said to test cap to 6.25 to 7.5 psi. Sho...

Okay sounds good. I dont have to worry about to much warm weather in Calumet,Mi. I dought I'll be reversing the blade for winter. Seems like to much of a hassel. I wont use it much in the winter I prefer to be in my truck with the heater on high. In a pinch I had to puch some snow this winter and in...

Cooling fan

I ordered a new cooling fan locally. What came was a four blade reversable fan. I had a six blade blower before. Will the four blade work for me or should I send it back and reorder. I see in the parts book has both listed but whitch woud be better. The bearing went bad on the water pump. The blade ...

I see you built new radiator cushions. I Just replaced those upper radiator cushions on mine. Some one before me bolted them solid. Im surprised the radiator held up. Watching it with the hood off that thing really jiggles around.

My aftermarket one did the same thing. Its just air. It took awhile but eventually worked its way out. My factory ajuster gave me hassels too. It kept loosening up. I didnt know the port for the grease was on the bottom. lol. Not untill I had three tubes of grease into it in a dark garage.. The litt...

Could the vent tube be pluged? Was there a lot of noticeable water when you changed the oil? You could send an oil sample to a lab that does oil analysis. That would tell you what is in your oil. The company I work for would do that for their trucks. I dont see why it wouldnt work for a dozer too.

Our local yard is real easy to deal with. I saw a guy swap some scrap for an Allis WC. Half an hour sooner and I would have done the same. It was a nice looking tracter but looked like it had been sitting for a long time. the tires were dry rotted right off. I ran into the guy at a gas station and a...
