Lavoy,

Are these pins and bushings still available? My crawler has been a slow restoration with all that is left is this.

Let me know how to get my hands on some.

Lavoy, My dist needs to be rebuilt. The bushing is worn and is very hard to gap the points. The shaft might even be worn. I also noticed the fly weights are rusted tight. What is your valve clearance???

Is it possible that the valves are set with not enough clearance causing the valves to let the compression out...

Where can I get the correct points ??? I believe these points came from NAPA. They said they are the same as older Chevys use. More info : I am still running a six volt + ground system. I will switch to 12 volt if/when my gen. goes to hell.

According to the Deere parts manuals, they are the same. Both machines have listed part # AT 11853 T. Here are links to manuals I used.

Here Is the whole parts manual. It says 40 tractor, but the crawler is in the same book.
