I run B20 in mine. The first 2 tanks were a pain, 20 years of gunk in the tank was released and went thru 2 fuel filters in 2 weeks. I did notice that now the top gasket on the injector pump now has a drip, not sure if it's from the Bio or just a worn out gasket. I noticed no power loss and less smo...

I added one, my old one was broken when I bought my 350. I picked up a new on for around $15 from http://www.deerelydeparted.com. I couldn't believe how much dirt gets trapped in it.

Checked the roller flanges and none are chipped or missing. How freely should the bottom rollers turn? Mine do not roll that easy. Will check on the pins and bushings, I am thinking those might be worn as the track snakes alot.

Lavoy do you have the JD266 track guage tool or something similar?

Track Throwing...

I changed the front idler which was worn badly, added correct shims for idler arms, measured to make sure that the idler was centered... Now I can get about 4 hours of use before same track gets thrown. The other side has never thown a track, but it's slack is less than 3/4", it does jump the bottom...

Are the idler guides heat treated or anything special? JD want $16 each (x8) for them. I've got 1/4" x 2" flat stock everywhere for the cost of one I can make 10 out of the stock.

Possible reason for thrown the same track

I keep throwing the left side track. Sometimes I can go all day without a problem, other it seems it's off every hour. WThew it again this weekend and noticed that the inside of the front idler was worn bad, also all the idler guides were worn down to less than 1/16 of an inch. I'm thinking this is ...

350 Injector pump leak

Injector pump is dripping between the body and the top plate where throttle linkage attaches. Is there anyway to tighten this up or is the seal shot and I have to have it sent out to be repaired.

Thanks

I hoping that the replacement cap that I got this week will fix the mystery radaitor fluid leak. No white smoke when running or murky oil, it just looses ablot a gallon a day when running. The old cap barely stayed on so I think that was were it was going. I replaced the water pump and no leaks from...

I have a Springfield Armory M1A, like it, but it's not a favorite. What I paid 15 years ago and what it's going for now, I should have bought 5 instead of stocks... My favorite 308 is my Remington PSS, of a FAL, for long range shooting I go with my AI 338 Lapua.

How long did it take you to remove everything to get to the clutches?

I'm trying to gauge if this is a weekend job, my 350B is 5 hours away and only get to work on it on the weekends, and like to do it in 1 weekend if possible...

Thanks-
