thanks for that...i will spend the next day or two working on separating those two pedals....as for the reverser im going to leave it alone for now...the guy i got the dozer off said it didnt work and i was just trying it out....i will rebuild when the time comes...no money right now.....i sure hope...

ok...so the clutch pedal should not move when the brake pedal is depressed? I will have to look into that...im sure that is what my problem is

update: I fired up my dozer today and took it for a rip...Now here is where i get a little confused. Is the brake pedal connected to the clutch pedal? I fiddled with the clutch pedal...and got more power....my clutch must have only been half releasing....If i push in my brake pedal (right side) the ...

ok thanks....when I take it apart i will have a look at it...I hope that hasnt done a lot of damage...when I had the other side rebuilt it cost me $2500 cdn by the time i was done...new shaft and housing...bearings...etc.etc etc...So would all of these problems together (worn pins, shaft slid over e...

I have found another problem to add to the mess I already have. My final drive was rebuilt on the left side...but on the right side...the side that is worn out the final drive has problems (I think) the hub that the sprocket attaches to has walked out 1/2 inch compared to my newly rebuilt left side....

I have JD 440 with a 2 cyl jimmy diesel and it seems to be lacking power....It will only run in 1st or 2nd gear and the reverser does seem to work........It may need tightening up but i am not sure.....When i release the main clutch sometimes I have to pull it back with my foot or it will not fully ...
