JD 1010 Gas crawler for sale

I've pull strarted lots of crawlers.....all gear drive.

One time it was the transfer pump....another time I had to pull the injection pump off and replace what I remember was a seal on the drive shaft. I don't have my books at this location o...

I think that's a great picture, and quite pertinent to the topic. I personally see nothing offensive about it.
All this forestry talk is making me wish I had some trees to manage....... :D

Since Little Red Riding Hood isn't in the picture, does that mean the Big Bad Wolf was successful?? lol
Seriously, this is a very interesting thread...I'm learning a lot and enjoying the pictures. Thanks guys.

All I have here is juniper trees, and they are like weeds. So part of my fun is pushing them over with the crawler, and burning them in my stove in the shop. When I was a youngster, there was a guy who lived about 40 miles away next to the forest. He had "Tree Farm" signs on the fence next to the hi...

The outboard fittings are for the outer bearing...All they require are a couple of pumps of grease ONCE a year. Just use a good quality grease. Overgreasing can blow the seal out. I'm not sure about the inner fittings. I just looked at an ag tractor and didn't see anything but those outer fittings. ...
