Yeah that is what i did. i pressed out the bearing and as i thought the bearing broke in half and there is still half of it in there i am guessing the part that the retainer is holding in there. and yeah the retainer will not come out yet. i guess i am down to cutting out the rest of the bearing or ...

I noticed that there was some sloppy play in the fan shaft. i took off the fan blade and the water pump. the bearings are out of the shaft at the water pump. i pulled off the fan blade and the belt pulley. next the manual said to pull out the retainer and press out the shatf to free up the impeller....

thanks, i am thinking that the brake is bad or needs adjustment. but the big question is that going front or back both tracks do not pull. only the left track pulls.
