There is also a free program called Drop Box that you can set up to share files. I use it every day for work and home as well as sharing files between employees.

Need new fuel tank lid

I have managed to break the fuel tank cap on my 555a track loader. It vibrated loose while moving between fields and someone ran over it. Any ideas where I can get a replacement?

Update. I noticed that my fill cap for the hydraulic fluid was on a plate that had 6 bolts holding it down and a spring loaded valve. Just for the heck of it I pulled those 6 bolts out and there was the filter attached directly to the underside of the fill cap. The plate and filter slide up and out ...

555 Hydraulic return line filter

My manual shows that my hydraulic return line filter is under the right side reservoir cover. However there is no trace that there was ever a filter in this location. Is there another location that these filters were placed. I have looked through several versions of the manuals 555 and 555A and cann...

Thanks for the tip Tigerhaze. I am 60 miles south of KC. I have actually already asked them and its not a part they can get.

I will keep looking :)

Got a new number for the gauge from my local JD dealer. They cannot get it because its on the industrial side. The part number is AT360871.

I am still looking for a gauge that will work from my local auto store as well.

Thanks for the info. The filter seems easy enough to get. I will keep looking for a transmission oil pressure gauge.

555A Carrier Roller Lubrication

The manual says that to add oil to the track carrier roller, front idler and track roller I am supposed to fill a grease gun with 80/90 gear oil and add oil through the grease fitting until it comes out my oil level plug. Is there a particular type of grease gun to use. I have asked around at some o...
