I have a Terex 82-30 with a 6-71 detroit.From what I can see it does shut down the fuel system.Lavoy's right about the knob to pull for shut down.I need to learn to post pictures on here as when I moved my 1010 to the garage for rebuild,I took the Terex and a chain and picked up the 1010 about 4 fee...

Hi Lavoy,quick questions, will a block from a 1010 tractor fit a crawler?Is it the same as a 2010?Any thing else fit?

Sandpaper!
Just something I've run into before,run a piece of very fine sandpaper (or your wifes emery board if oyur feeling lucky)between the points contacts.After setting them with a feeler gage it will sometimes leave a thin film of oil on the points(non-conductive).Good luck!

1010 gas to diesel
I have an early model 1010 gas.My motor is in really bad condition.However ran across a diesel for a 1010 tractor or crawler.Would it fit?I have the direction reverser.If not,Lavoy,Do you have cylinder liners for sale.Need pistons , pins and rings.

1010 motor
I'm in the process of pulling my 1010 motor ,in pretty bad shape.Another motor would make things alot easier.How much for the motor and where is it located?I'm located in south east Indiana.

Slide it!
Use the 2 -2x8 with grease in between them.It should slide fairly easily.Just a thought.
