Yes it is special. I literally grew up on it discing, quake digging, baling etc. Just hope to get it painted in time for Dad to see it...

Thanks for the reply Lavoy, Yes, it is a model 76 blade. I assume it was modified if it's not a standard fit for the 430. The under carriage is not square anymore to the blade. Can only use the one side of the blade for positioning the blade angle. The other side holes don't line up...and haven't fo...

430w/76 blade

I now am the proud owner of my Dad's JD430 crawler. He bought it new in 1960 and used it as our main farm tractor for years. It was painted all commercial yellow. Still starts like a charm but is showing her age. I plan to have iit painted this coming spring. Have adjusted the steering and track ten...
