JWB- Yes I did and they are a bear to get to, especially when torqued to about 250 ft. lbs. also the four on the side that bolts the rear cross-member to the final are almost as bad. Thought I might carefully apply a little pressure horizonally with a porta-power in the area where the draw bar attac...

Final Drive Removal
I am in the process of rebuilding the steering clutches in my 67 JD 350 (straoght). I have removed all the bolts as outlined in the manual, but the final drive will not separate from the clutch housing. It is STUCK to say the least. I have tryed comventional methods ie- attempting to drive screwdriv...

The beginning of the Napskin. The shirt sleeve was invented later. Yes, slick sleeves are common here in the south, especially...

Correct Fluids
My local Tractor Supply sells an oil called ACCEL 303 Tractor Hydraulic Transmission Fluid. Does anyone know if this is comparable to the John Deere Type 303 Special Purpose Oil that the manual for my 350 (Straight) calls for in basically everything except the engine? (hydraulics, reverser, transmis...

My 350 dozer is making the same noise you describe. It's a little hard to determine just where the noise is coming from, but its somewhere in the hydrolic system. My dozer does not have a filter inside the reservoir, all reference in my manual that refers to this filter is associated with a loader. ...
