Case Backhoe Conversion

This one turned our real nice, we did 2 of them simultaneously. I wasn't there while the conversion occurred, only thing I was not happy about with was the seat mounting. http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/xx138/jwb_contracting/IMG_1414_zpslhs6jpst.jpg http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/xx138/jwb_co...

Backhoe Conversion

The small case hoe is one of the best small attachments to put on a 350. Heavy enough that you can push the crawler around for re-positioning but light enough that you don't need to remove it for loader or dozer work. There's no great secret to converting any kind of hoe. We start with boxed tubbing...

Hi From Wildwood

Yes, I emailed you and waiting for a response.

My dad has a number running / non running MC's which we are going to work on this summer and always on the look for parts.

450 Winches

These should be readily available. I'm in Alberta and have 4 or 5 in stock at the moment. Some may need brake and clutch work as they have been sitting for a while. I normally get 2,500 Canadian for a complete working winch with control cable and handle. We mount and test prior to sale. Add another ...

Factory Wide Tracks

There were factory wide tracks built in both the B series and C series. The B series had a BW in the serial number. My dad just finished off his 40th year of work for the local gas company (retired last month) and he had widepad 350's in service since 78. He bought a kit for 7,500 in 78. Yes they ta...

International Crawlers

We have a few, mostly non running projects. We have an T5 narrow, old restoration. A few TD6's, a couple TD35's and a international / hough crawler loader which is very rare. I think we are going to work on the TD35's next. One turns but can't started is as something is wrong with the decompression ...

1010 Final Drives

Are the final drives interchangeable between old and late model 1010's. I had a guy looking for one and all I found were old series ones by the part number. I did find some that didn't have a part number on the case in the pinion area, suspect they are late model. I was going to bring them in the sh...

Brake Lock

Is it possible the brakes are not releasing??

I didn't read the full previous post, but this can happen. The foot pedal brake can seize up, brake lock can be on, brake linkage problems or the brake bands may be to tight.

350 Progress

Glad to see you got it back together and working. I would recommend keeping your old parts. When the drive splines wears out the next solution is to have a machinist build a square drive gear and a square receptacle in the drive hub. When people see my dad's machines on the job the first comment he ...

450C Steering Clutch

When you pull back on the clutch lever it interrupts the flow of oil to the clutch and allows it to slip.

If one clutch is not driving then normally it is the o-ring in the clutch assembly or the line going to the clutch.

The Deere Service manual is your best bet to diagnose the issue.

Skidder Canopy Conversion

I have recently seen a 440 deere skidder canopy with limb risers adapted to a green crawler. Looked real professional.

If I was doing one that is the route I would go. But I already have a few in the scrap pile as well.

440 industrial

I just got one with a loader, three point hitch and reverser but unfortunately it is a gas. It's original and rough but all there. Does run and work good, but rear hubs are loose. Most likely going to have to glue them on with deacon, but not until I fix the brakes. Never seen a diesel one around he...

Nice Line Up

So which one is your favorite?

I always enjoy starting and driving a lindeman around, but tough to compete with a good running ICD pushing snow or dirt.

Thanks For The Recommendation

Darren got in contact with me today and should have everything needed to get this tractor operational so he can see if it is worth diving into the undercarriage.

My dad is finally parting with widepad parts as he is retiring from utility construction industry in a few months.
