I decided to scrap the bailer. I kept the 4cyl hercules engine and the very impresive flywheel.

thanks Lavoy for the info. I did as you said and disconected both hoses and then took the pin out. and lifted the cylinder up and back giving me enough room to replace both hoses. I am taking your advice and replacing both hoses on the other side also.

thanks Walt

Blown hydrolic hose

Ive blown the hose that lifts the bucket up and down on a 90 loader ,on the long cylinder. and with the bucket now in the down position the hose end that attatches to the cylinder is virtually impossible to get at . My question is should I fill the hydrolic fluid up then raise the loader up.and quic...

green or yellow

my vote is yellow.especially since its the color your dad liked enough to repaint it yellow. if you had no past history with this crawler. then i would say green. all that being said green or yellow it will look good.so put me in for one vote yellow. my .02 Walt

420 reverser

is it normal for the reverser to be noisy / grumbly. it works ok and this may be normal, but it is noticably more noisy in reverse useing the reverser than useing reverse gear.anyone with a crawler with reverser please let me know if yours is similar.or not
