Update
The Loader is back together now and running good. There does not seem to be any dragging or vibration after replacing the brake band. The band was a rebuilt band and some of the brake shoe material had came apart. Not sure which came first the brake dragging or the failed brake band. Thanks for the ...

Answer
I answered my own question tonight... I don't think there is any way that the brake band anchor could possibly be removed with the final drive installed. In fact, Houdini himself would probably have problems removing the anchor WITH the final removed! I think I have recovered from this mishap. After...

Don't do this...
While trying to identify the source of the vibration today, I noticed the brake band anchor nut was loose. So, I tightened it real good... too good and the stud broke off. Now to try to find a T21317 anchor and replace it..... On the positive side -- I'm hopeful the brake band was the source of the ...

350B Brake Band Anchor T21317 Broken
The Dilemma - While working on another problem today, I noticed the brake band anchor T21317 nut was loose. I thought it needed to be pretty tight, but much to my surprise the bolt appears to be some sort of cast and broke off. My questions: 1) Can this anchor possibly be replaced from the top side ...

Is the Final Pinion Bearing a common problem and I assume it is repairable by removing the Pinion Bearing Housing Cap?
Would the Final Pinion make a louder noise in Reverse as opposed to Forward?
I really appreciate the feedback.

JD 350B Loader Rough Vibration in Reverse Only
Today while running the 350B Loader, I noticed a rough vibration or grinding noise ONLY while moving in the reverse direction. I fear it is a transmission problem, but I'm hopeful some of you guys have experienced this and have alternative suggestions. I guess it could be a final drive or a binding ...

I Still need a 350B (Right) Front IdlerAT31141 or T32062
I Still need a 350B (Right) Front IdlerAT31141 or T32062. I have fixed the boom arm. It was not too bad, just cleaned it up a bit and welded it back. The weld had broken on the pin.

350B Parts needed
I need a (Right) Front IdlerAT31141 or T32062 and I also need a AT32045, Left Inner Boom Lever Arm. My lever arm has a broken pin on the center pin. Does anyone have any experience repairing one of these broken Pins? I would also take any suggestions on welding/repairing damaged front idler as noted...

Transmission Verdict
I thought I would follow up on this older post. I decided to take the ole 350B to Ace Equipment Repair & Welding. 5973 Kingsport Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37615. (423) 434-0008 for the repair. I sure am glad I took this machine to a shop for this repair. I did not have access to a shop with a lift or ho...

350B Steering Clutch Pressure Plate Tension Adjustment
Can the 350B Steering Clutch Pressure Plate Tension be adjusted (Increased) while in the machine?
I know it won't be easy if it is possible...
If so, I would appreciate any hints.
Thanks,
D.Light

Special tools required?
OK - I have the 350B out of the woods now. I am contemplating tackling the transmission removal and repair myself as opposed to taking it to a shop and spending $$$$ on the labor. I realize this job requires a lot of hard manual labor, but I am curious if I will need any special pullers, etc. Lookin...
