Hello dirt lovers!, I broke my crawler. I need an upper track idler for a JD 1010. The track cut this thing in three pieces! Amazing. I am in Indiana,so closer the better.
Thanks

2010/1010?
P/n t16162t is on the left side of the block. It has 5 main bearings. Did they offer a 3.625 bore diesel in a 1010? Were all the other engine components the same?
Thanks Mark
Thanks Mark

My new to me 1963 2010 (((((Diesel))))) crawler was smoking, so I tore it down, do to low compression. The liner plate is worn out!!!! Bad Enough. The dumb thing only has a bore of 3.625-----Gas block!!!!!!!! Is this why I dont have compression? Diesel head and all external diesel parts. why??
Thanks
Thanks

Well, here's the update. I swapped injectors, no help. I did a compression test, all cylinders were low- about 225lbs-but all about the same. I ran the HECK out of it with no real change. The smoke was pretty good at low idle, with a little blue/white smoke, but at rpm it blue/white smoked excessive...

Here is an update, I found a handle in N.Y. state for $50.00. So that problem is solved! I got my injection pump and injectors back also, they said the reaction plate was cracked. That is why it would start and shut down after a short time. They said my injectors looked pretty good and popped off go...

2010 diesal start
Hello, I bought this 2010, looks like fair condition, but has sat for years inside a barn without being started. I replaced the glow plugs, pulled the injectors(to check for rust or being stuck-ok) cleaned the tank,it was almost full of fuel,so pretty clean. I am getting squirts of fuel at the inject...

2010 final drive
Hello, the final drive was torn apart when I bought this machine so I am reassembling using the shop manual I have. It shows the bearings on the axle facing each other with a snap ring locating the smaller inboard bearing race. My housing doesn't have a grove for a snap ring----I did get a snap ring...

2010 serial
Well I guess mine is missing. It looks like it was supposed to be right front on the engine block, there are two rivets there. What years am I potentially looking at for this machine. Thanks

2010 model/trans/year
Hello, the dash mounted data plate is missing, how do I tell what year my crawler is? How about serial number, trans type or any other need to know info? I have the final drive off and need to find out specs for clutches (overall thickness of pack)and looks like the height of the pressure plate above...
