Thanks for all the input.... I have a guy lined up to go ahead and get the machine and hoe I bought at the same time. He has a land-all trailer with a winch and plans on taking a Lull lift to get the hoe and assist in pushing the loader onto the trailer. I plan on taking a few come-a-alongs to bind ...

Help with 93A backhoe
Does anyone know what a 93A backhoe for a 450 loader weighs, it is the one with the rotary cylinder that no one cares for......It has a 18" bucket on it. Thanks for any help...

So how do the serial numbers work on french machines? Any ideas on what year? And does anyone know if these are sleeved motors or solid blocks? Thanks!!

Yes it is a made in fance machine. I am in NC USA, I bought the first machine with intentions of clearing some land my wife and I purchased. And seen what parts retail for and when I saw the second machine for the price of scrap weight I couldnt resist. Since I showed my dad the pics he keeps tellli...

The major difference I see in this machine is that there is no tank behind the seat, the seat rotates around like a new backhoe so u can run the backhoe attachment from the same seat... Thats why I like this machine over the other. Just wanna know what model it is... All the B's and C's I see online...

So that would make it a B right??? Either way it's in very good shape and I think it will be my better bet. Glad to have you guys on...

Decisions to be made....
I have a 450 1965 model and a 450C with a hoe attachment any preferences 1 machine over the other or are thay equal in dependablility. I paid for the 450C today I hate to say it but might just repair it and get rid of mine, it is a much nicer looking machine across the board from bucket to undercarraige. It has a cracked block from lack of antifreeze, It was welded once but has cracked in worse now so may just need a new block, not...
