drott was bought out by Case about 1985 i think. so all production was moved to Racine from Wausau Wi. who owns Case now i don't know. fishhawk

old trick i have used is just stick in about a ounce of break fluid, swells the rubber in the seals. fishhawk

well just my 4 cents (inflation you know) don't know how many times i have put in a new condenser and still have a bad condenser. bad condenser no spark! fishhawk

for some reason i don't think both tracks will fit in the jedda....maybe a VW rabbit would work! lavoys price for the track job is only about 50 bucks more than the price i got from florence track in florence wis.

so if there is just a shaft in there insted of a clutch pack are there still bearings that need lubing? i might be dumpung in oil for nothing!

ok so there is something out there made for the 440. now next thing is where would i find one and any idea on cost? and could you describe the reversing prosses on one?

hey does any one out there know if there was a winch set up for the 440 crawler? if so where would i find one? hate to thing about getting this thing stuck in the muck and trying to get it out. thanks

i'm surprized they got a bucket for a smaller dozer like that wish i could get one like that for my 440 just for mucking out a small pond.

well no spark plugs to foul out on the diesle the blugs on my gas 440 last about 2 1/2 hours then they foul (yea it burns oil) but i think the gas will push at a lower RPM than the diesle will. just my 2 cents. fishhawk
