only 5 roller crawlers had the upper idler.. the service manuals come up on ebay once in a while...if you know your way around machinery these little crawlers aren't that ccomplicated.. you just have to perfect getting those bolts with 50 years of rust out :x the steering clutches might only need to...

paint and primer

tractor supply's "transport yellow" as ken mentioned is very good looking and considerably less expensive... as for primer, i used rust oleum "healily rusted metal" primer, its a red brown color. you can get it in quarts and spraycans. its a thick primer and paint sticks to it very well. on a side n...

tractors are usefull just about every time something needs to be pulled out or in. just great for gruntwork, of course just about all that farmall is good for is sitting around rusting and getting stuck. :lol: just kidding, always been partial to Deere myself.
