Re: 350 slope board
I saw that Rockwell ad when I was furiously Google-ing "Use of Dozer Slope Boards." It was about the only thing that came up. I was hoping there might be someone on here who does or did this for a living and would know how they are commonly used. The ad points out that it can be used as an extension...

I have finally finished restoring a 1967 350 dozer. It has a slope board on it that works. I don't know what a slope board is used for, and if I sell it, I don't have any idea what range they sell for. I imagine they are used to work on uphill road slopes, but what else? So, my question is: What are...

WANTED : 350 Water Pump / Pulley
I am in the middle of a major rebuild on my straight 350 engine, and found that he previous owner welded the pulley spindle on the water pump. I need a pump or a good pulley. I have a 53,000-plus serial number.
Thanks,

Where were the two cap screws? I am getting ready to do the same thing as soon as my hands recover from the viral arthritis attach I have going on now. Usually lasts about six weeks, and I am in week four, so I will be taking it on in next two weeks, and could benefit from your trail breaking. Pictu...

350 vs. 350C?
When I gave the local parts guy my serial number to order some parts he said the machine is a '76 350, not a 350C, even though there is a huge "350C" decal on each side of the fuel tank. I guess the tank could have been changed, or the machine was modified to a C or something ???, it isn't that impo...

Thanks, Lavoy. I have questions. I am familiar with sleeves. I have inserted them in a shop class at the local JC. I am not familiar with a "sleeve seal." Is the "sleeve seal" what I call the sleeve? What is it and what would show up in the pan that would indicate a problem with it? The head gasket ...
