Same experience as Leonard. I couldn't find my fill plugs on my 350B until I dropped the skid plate and brackets.

Leonard, You're absolutely right. It is the vertical shaft that does not rotate. Your thoughts on the problem with the tube that the throughout bearing slides on are where I think the problem may be as well. When I put the final drive back in place things where difficult to keep aligned. We probably...

350 Steering Shaft

This past summer I rebuilt the final drives and steering clutches on my 350B. Since putting it back together the left side the steering shaft will not rotate to slide the throughout bearing onto the pressure plate. Has anyone run into this problem? Any ideas? Thanks.

Lavoy,
Do you carry the just the seal kit (Part # AT36097) for the final drive axle on the JD 350B crawler loader? If not, any suggestions on where I could find one? Thanks!

Thanks guys. I have a heavy equipment shop lined up to do the work and we are trying to determine what is a reasonable time estimate. The shop is willing to charge based on actual time estimates experienced by others working on the 350. It sounds like we are talking a full day of shop time. They hav...

350B Steering Clutch specifications?

I bought a 350B crawler loader last year and the steering clutch on the left side is bad. The previous owner gave me a few boxes of parts which includes two packages of fibre steering clutch disks (T20790). I have no idea if they are new or worn out. They look to be in good shape but wonder how you ...
