Can anyone tell me which models of combines had the same engine as the 2010 and 1010? How many hours do these engines normally do before rebuild?

My 2010 appears to have a wico distributor instead of delco or prestolite and I am having problems finding aftermarket tune up parts. Does anybody have a cross reference to JD part numbers so I can order from an auto part supplier? Reading the shop manual to study up on timing the distributor I see ...

The left lever had some effect when pulled back with 2 hands, The right one didn't seem to work at all but i didn't play much before parking it. will the clutches loosen with exercise or not, I don't think the engine bogged down. How much steering results if you slip one side without braking?

i have a chance to buy a 1010 with broken trany. How close is the size to my 2010? Is the loader the same? tracks? etc. many interchangeable parts?

Can a flywheel be balanced on one engine but not another? What is the component between the ex manifold and the valve cover on the gas motor? I haven't noticed it on mine.Does the diesel use a spacer on the starter like the gas? Are the starters interchangeable?

My new to me 2010 has some rollers with grease fittings and some without. What is the significance? Also there are tie bolts down there that all seem to be loose, how important are they?
