Dozingdozer,That is a wet clutch hyd activated. I would think there is a directional valve or relive valve in the system for reverse. It sounds like your clutches are ok working in forward gear. What is your service manual say. Let us know .

I have 350 crawer oil is dripping from a hole below the dry clutchs. Im going to replace both sides. Im looking at seals. The machincal seals on the final drive houseing, I think are the seal leaking. there is a seal on final drive shaft removeing the quill and eveything with it. where could the fin...

My crawer track was doing the same thing . I inspected the track an found the master link was working it's self out. I got it back in welded it up it stoped poping. I think about haveing to grind it out to replace steering clutches.

Thank you guys are helping me alot with the dissembing. Will this work in lifting the back of the tractor up? changing out steering clutches 1970 350

I have parked the crawer on a small concrete slab just big enough for the tractor and motor cycle lift can I do the job with the lift? The service manual said to remove the fuel tank is that necessary?

The service manual is saying to grease the throw out bearing evey 50 hours, I can't find find a grease a sert.

1970 350 crawer hoe what to expect.

The machine will be good for landscaping,terractheing,leveling an setting railroad ties general medium to light duty work. Even fixed properly the Mt im trying to move will be burden for the 350 . I have the steering parts for 1 side now both sides are out it runs fair for 30 minutes, It's more work...

Good morning Kemp. I took the cap off the valve body freeing it up works perfect. The other side I rebuild , there is a spriig in side the valve body, I'm thinking it could be to tight causeing the out rigger to leak off . I had the complete valve assemble off an tore down to replace all the O rings...

The valve assembly is back on the hoe and hooked up to the tractor. It was a 5 minute job. I used the brute a few hours . For no reason the right out riggger valve locked up in the up position. I,m hopeing to remove the cap on bottom of valve an loosen the spring, will that work ? No way am I going ...

I took the valve bank off marking all 12 hoses it was heavy, 3 bolts and the 6 manifolds came apart. I found 0 rings missing an broken . I fixed a sticking out rigger spool . I hope to have the control on an working after Thanksgiving. I got all the 0 rings at Truevalue hardwere, there thin 0 rings,...

I was on top of a small mt pushing with the bucket , for no reason I lost 50 % of the grunt and it went to squeeling and slipping. I got it down from the mt. All the oils where good. I found clean oil dripping from a weep hoe under the tractor at rear of the engine. Would that be oil from the revers...

Kenp,Thanks . The guy that delivered the tractor an hoe really though it was junk. He told me to remove the hoe because the final axel broke an cost 1000$ . Support from you is cool . Gerald
