Jtrichards again came to the rescue. The 1010 doesnt have a front engine mount for anyone else that ever has this question.
As for my 1010 I will be making one that bolts between the hyd pump and disconnect and secures to the frame like the 2010 has.

1010 diesel front engine mount ???

does anyone know if the 1010 had a front engine mount cross member. I got my new engine in but only thing I am finding that bolts to the front of the motor is my hydrolic pump and pully disconnect setup. I don't see anything that I pulled off anywhere that would support the front of the motor. I am ...

I received some help from jtrichard, but just for future if anyone else has this question I went with flat side down like the manual says. Doing this puts the driven disk more on the splines then right at the very end of the splines on the reverser pump. Also I made an alignment tool out of a piece ...

I guess I will put it on with the flatest side down looks like plenty of room either way. now when I install it bolts ran in but still loose it only has a hair of adjustment if that. So do I really need to go buy an alignment tool over a hair? imput would be great, this may not be the stock part, do...

1010 with reverser (which way to install driven disk)

I am all confused on which way to install the driven disk which attaches to fly wheel and reverser. The way I took it off is oppisite of what the manual says. Manual says place driven disc flat side down, but the way I took it off is flat side was up facing towards the reverser. I can tell due to th...

I recently rebuilt or should I say bearinged, honed and reringed a 2010c diesel, like most others I wanted new pistons and sleeves. I could not find the parts (deck sleeve or pistons) to do the major overhaul. So my question if a 1010 deck sleeve can be bored out to accept a used 2010 piston so at ...

I went out and measured the hole in block where the sleeve plate meets the rubber orings, They may be same block but those holes had to be bigger to except a 2010 sleeve if the 2010 is 3 7/8". So that bare block parts number thats same for 1010 and 2010 cant be right.

ya I hear ya, I started looking into this because every time I was getting part prices from my local john deere he kept saying that part is same as the 2010 and that the 2010 parts are more available used on ebay, then I go to ebay and almost everything says 1010 or 2010, so I downloaded both parts ...

I dont know just going by the part numbers out of the 2010 crawler vs 1010 Crawler, and the newer 1010 bare Block (T17513T) is the same part number as the 2010 bare block (T17513T), as with the crank, connecting rods, cam, bearings, valves, injectors, glow plugs and head. I see the pistons, sleeve d...

Re: 2010 vs. 1010 diesel engine

Can a 1010 deck sleeve be bored out to accept a 2010 diesel piston? Would the sleeve deck need to be in the block to bore it? If this would work it would be a great way to get clean bore for the 2010 diesel. THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!!! :)APPEARS TO BE THE ONLY DIFFERENT IN 2010 VS 1010 DIE...

block is different sleeve is different bigger bore 145ci vs 155ci i dont think it would hurt to put the higher HP in the 1010 it has been done before you might have to watch just how hard you work her Looking at parts manual for 1010 vs 2010 and the later 1010 diesel blocks are same part number as ...

I guess I got some bad info, my bad. I was told the block and sleave was eaxctly same ha thanks now I can see where little more power would be created. I was doing some research because I need a 1010 sleave and found some posts where a guy was saying the 2010 is same and is actually cheaper to buy f...
