Re: 63 blade- hydraulic 6way conversion

Well, i have been looking at this for a while now. Tilt components are worn out on my 63 blade. Issue would come sooner or later... so why not going a little bit further. If you compare 63 and 64 models there are a lot of shared parts and similarities. After reviewing parts lists and pictures shared...

That makes the post more interesting as well.

It would be nicer with a 64 blade

Work in progress...!

Re: Posts for Pic Server requests and comments

Test! I think I get it now :D http://jdcrawlers.lcent.com:8000/johndeere/albums/userpics/10007/Beau_ti_Bull.JPG It looks like it works better with a laptop running Windows than a ipad from apple. Will do some more testing and probably re-edit some show and tell posts. Thanks Dtoots1 for your advices!

Re: Posts for Pic Server requests and comments

Hi,

Is there a way to have the picture displayed in the post or do we always have to click the link to go at it?

Thanks.

63 blade- hydraulic 6way conversion

Hi, I'm looking for modifying my 63 blade into a hydraulic 6 way blade. Has somebody ever done that on the board? I looked at some projects on the show and tell section. Unfortunately most of photobucket hosted pictures disappeared... It looks like the 64 blade is the hydraulic 6 way version of the ...

Re: 440 Track Frame repair

Thanks guys.

Ben, the dozer came with this 420 throttle lever from the past owner. It works well so I kept it like this up to now. I have a spare dash plate and everything to put it back original. It is going to be one of the winter's project!

After both track frames were ready to install, removal of the old ones began. Re: 440 Track Frame repair

Nice rebuild! Good job. What photo sharing website did u use? Thanks! I used www.imgbox.com It is free and easy to use. This photobucket "offer" is bad... One has to re-link everything again for each thread or let it go. Show & tell is my favorite on here as we can see other's good work on their ma...

Re: 420c undercarriage rollers

Last time i checked, deere prices were high for those bushings and seals. Price of bottom rollers has exploded. I bought one in 2010 from deere and it was around 250$. The same roller number today is around 540$!! I just rebuilt the 2 side frames on my 440 and i thought i would only need 3 rollers. ...

Does someone know the resistance of a 6 V starter armature Or have one on hand and can measure it. I would validate what i have then (3 starters on hand). Thanks!

Personnaly I use Caterpillar bolts. All grade 8. I like the fact that they have this nice catalog where i can list all I need for a project. They are a bit expensive though. You can order them at your local cat dealer. http://www.finning.com/content/dam/finning/en_ca/Documents/Parts/one%20safe%20sou...

Thanks as well mini kahuna. Your advice as well as Lavoy's made me decide to go on with a rock guard fix and install. A lot of work! I will probably put a "show & tell" thread about this repair since the board looks more stable.
