its a roosa master db. I had the pump off for about a month and drained of fuel. I didnt tear into the plungers the 1st time to see if they moved freely so I guess they dried up because it took some force to push them out the 2nd time and lubricate them.

injector pump new seal kit

I put new seal kit in roosa master pump (on jd 2010), put it back on crawler and cannot get it primed. I pulled the injector lines off at the pump and cranked it. It did spit some fuel, but not as much as I think it should. Had the throttle wide open, all fuel lines open, pump was mounted TDC, and m...

Transfer pump is built into top of the injector pump. Starter is strong, battery is brand new but loses juice after cranking for a while.

thanks for the info. Ive cranked the engine for probably 20minutes with the injector lines cracked and couldnt get any flow to the injectors, after I bled the filters. So I used the cold start primer and some ether to see if I could get it to run that way to help the pump prime with no luck(glow plu...

Ok. got the pump apart and things went smooth replacing the seal and putting the pump back together. Problem now is I cannot get fuel to the injectors. I believe I have everything together right. Is there a specific way to prime the pump other than turning the engine over. I have flow to the transfe...

Thanks JDEMARIS
I took all those bolts out, but the head seems really tight. I hate to force it and break something else(already broke the shut off cam and one of the mounting ears). I would think that if it were an o ring there would be a little play but I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

Is complete pump disassembly required to replace the governor weight retainer ( the one the deteriorates causing mouse turds)? The less I have to tear apart, the better off I/the pump will be. Thanks

Thanks JDEMARIS. I downloaded the roosa master manual. My next problem is that I cannot even complete the 1st step in disassembling the pump. It says to pull out the pump drive shaft, should pull right out but i cannnot get it to bugde. Im afraid to use too much force in fear of breaking something.....

just started tearing into pump, lots of "mouse turds". Really need info on how to disassemble the pump. I saw JDmaris had picks of disassembling a pump but most of the pics have been removed. a diagram would be great. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
