NOS T20788 JD steering clutch

I have a NOS in original box and plastic wrapper JD 20788 steering clutch. I bought from my local John Deere dealer in 2013, and never installed on my crawler. I am asking $1000 plus shipping for this. It weighs roughly 25 pounds. Located approximately 30 miles south of St. Louis, MO. I talked to La...

We both live in Missouri, I am south of St. Louis were cedar trees and hills are common. I just sold my 1956 420 W in March. I bought a 1971 1020 utility in May. I use these tractors for raking hay, and sickle bar mowing. The 1020 has brakes that you lightly touch with your foot and things stop. I w...

Thanks Lavoy for clearing that up. The bushings I am talking about are the ones that connect the boom to the bucket. And yes, they do take a beating, and it know makes sense to me why these are so high in cost. Lou :D

350B loader bushings

Hello All!!! I have been searching the forum for what type of material loader bushings should be made of. I guess I cannot navigate the web as well as some of you. :( I was thinking of tightening my bucket up. Mother Deere wants $52.00 per bushing (part# U12817) I found a seller on ebay that ...

Hello All!!!! :D I just had an interesting time rebuilding my John Deere 2240 utility tractor water pump. About a year and a half ago, I had my local JD dealer rebuild my water pump. Well about a month ago I heard stange noises coming from the front and I shut the motor off. :? Look around, found th...

If your JD dealer is an agriculture dealer, they may not be able to get the JD industrial parts. I have that problem where I live. Go see an industrial JD dealer and see if that cures the problem :D Lou

Mine would show way, way too hot. I rebuilt water pump, changed the thermostat. To no avail. So I then changed my electric temperature guage to a mechanical guage, guess what I should have done this from the start. I know my problem is the opposite of yours, but I don't fully rely on an electric gua...

Just my two cents. I have a JD 420 two cylinder tractor that had gotten coolant in the oil. A friend told me to rebuild the bottom of the motor, but I put a new head gasket on, and was going to sell the old girl at the next consignment auction. Decide to take one last ride, and I locked the motor up...

Hi 77 Ford, What kind of truck would you be using to pull this trailer? Would it have enough stopping power? Also, if your combination gross vehicle weight is over 26,000 lbs. You may fall into Department of Transportation rules. Which is a totally different animal, than just a normal drivers licens...
