Gus, my manual has OMT31756 as a catalog number on it for serial #100001 and up, i bought mine as a digital copy. hope that helps

Thanks guys!!! i have decided to go the 12 volt route, and have my starter and generator being rewound for 12v instead of 6v. getting everything done for $105.00 at a local rebuild shop, i dont think that sounds to bad? and that price also includes a new regulator and coil!!! i am also going to inst...

Thanks Guys!!! Great information!! can someone tell me if there is a difference in the capacitor in the distributor? can i just use an old style gm type? i have herd that the old gm points work in these distributors so i just assumed the capacitor was the same.

need some advice, i am currently rebuilding my 420c and want to do a 12 volt conversion on it but need some advice on how to do it. first is should it be set up as a positive ground? or conventional negative ground? i also am not sure if i need to change the points and condenser in the distributor? ...

how big is your press?
i was going to build a die set for them but really need to know what the dimensions and type of steel they were built from? the ones that were on my machine are so bad that i cant even measure the diameter of the bolt.
any ideas?

Dustin, there are a couple of possibilities here, one you have debris in the needle and seat, a build up of shellac, or a bad float. you should be able to pull the float bowl on the carb and inspect/ clean the parts. you can check the float by floating it in some fuel, there shouldn't be any liquid ...

i have a broken track tension bolt on my 420c, any suggestions on removal? is the spring going to take off flying when i pop the track off?
