having trouble with the starter on my 2010 diesel, new battery, new cables, all connections good. just won't crank at a good speed. this has been getting slower for some time. In the process of steerinc clutch rebuild on my 2010 dozer, I have found what I think are the master links on the track. one pin has the dimpple in the center and then right next to it is a pin with a mushroom head. why would this be ,and which one should I try to remove?

Looking for info on the tachometer on a 2010 crawler diesel, I have not been able to find on through deere dealer. Will any other deere Tach work in this crawler?
