Yeah I don't go Champion too much either but I got two H10C's although I seriously considered the NGK B6L. I've always had a good run from NGK's but for this application I was a bit concerned about the authentic look!

Over time, those decals will bleach out white, I guess from the sun but I've seen that many times. Not sure about the blade, can't see it all. Is that some unused brackets on the back of it? 40C picture

Heres a picture of our 40C as it is. As you can see the decals appear white and the trackgear hs been painted Cat yellow. The blade is very interesting and it must have been altered as I have never seen a JD blade like this one.1

40C colour schemes

Can anyone tell me what parts were Yellow on the 40C? Ours is a 1955 serial #69735 I'll post some pictures of the machine but the Rad grill is the main piece in question at present as its been painted yellow. A colour picture of the original paint scheme would be great. Haven't seen one yet! Also we...
