I built the tool shown in the tec. manual and pounded them out with a sledgehammer also...My father said to wear safety glasses when doing this...and I usually do anyway...sure enough a chunk of pin broke off when I was reinstalling them and went flying somewhere...

I was just checking the part number for this canopy...I saw two different configurations with the same number. AT43162 ??? The one I need has the front rings/isolator brackets running crossways to the machine...same as the track grousers below them...and the back ring/isolator brackets go lengthwise...

Looking for 450C ROPS

Hello I am looking for a ROPS to fit my 1978 450C loader/backhoe. It currently has a home made canopy but I'd like to find an original. I'm a bit isolated up north in Ontario...but Minnesota or Wisconsin is close enough to drive to...or I'll just have to pay more for shipping...if anyone knows of an...

Thanks for your input guys...I have contacted a few suppliers for teeth and I think that perhaps I'll try welding on a strip of old snowplow cutting edge...The current edge is pretty blunt and, although the machine has lots of power, I can't help but think a sharper edge would make a considerable di...

450 bucket teeth/cutting edge advice?

Hello Guys....Just welcoming your opinions on fixing up a bucket. My bucket never had teeth and there is only a little more than 1" left from the cutting edge to the seam. How wide is that with a new cutting edge, anyway? I was thinking about finding some aftermarket teeth for it. What style should ...

OK...thanks for the advice...I'll go with what I've got then....I'm not too experienced at mechanical stuff...usually just bring the broken stuff to my brother and father who are both mechanics...I will have to be sure not to assume things...like a grade 8 being better than a grade 5....sounds good ...
