Yes, the C models had the screen too. Matter of fact Deere still uses it in the 450-650Js that they make today!!

Not to change gears but Im pretty sure all the 350Cs have an engine oil cooler, right below the engine oil filter. Not sure if you checked that yet or not but it might not hurt. There should be a very small gap if it has the JD bushings installed, but like Jason says these get worn and make the gap larger over time, then it eggs out the cross-member and breaks the bolts.
