Pressue Check

What is kind of weird is that you dont have any problem on the reverse side. Did this problem happen all of the sudden of gradually? I beleive the A machines use a cable to activate forward and reverse. I'd check the cables adjustment to make sure its fully engaging forward. If thats not it then you...

Umbrella Seal

Im assuming that the 350B's used the same injection pump as the early 350C's (having a 152 c.i. engine). Should be a Roosa-Master DB2. There is an dual umbrella seal on the pump drive shaft that could also cause fuel into the crankcase. Its listed under the fuel injection pump drive group on the par...

Thats probably why its for sale Lavoy! New chains without pads are about $3000 from Deere. Also I thought that JD switched from "old construction yellow" to the new stlye on Nov 1 1991 or 92, I can't remember but its labeled right on the spray can.

I'm not sure about the warranty but,WTC wasnt that bad to me for getting the 350 adapters. I'm pretty sure they took the pump to the local Cat dealers hydraulic re-man center.(maybe that was the 2nd and 3rd problem?). The other thing is the press at work gets used by 6 or 7 guys, and most of them do...

Price

Lavoy is right, the price varies a bit depending if you want an air or an electric pump. There is another outfit making them called Tracbuster? (i think). And their price is about th same.

Got it for 4500, it came with a ton of adapters, even stuff to do Mack walking beam bushings. The adapters for a JD 350 were about 350 from WTC. The older OTC ones are nice because they have Power Team hydraulic components plus you can remove the ram and have a general purpose 100 ton hollow ram. Th...

Track work the easy way

Image
I picked up a used track press from a local paper. OTC no longer makes them but the company that took the track tools over still makes the pins to push out 350 series pins!! Sure beats a hammer and torch!!

I know for a fact that they were standard equipment when you got a ROPS on a 350C. The JD parts website lists a seat belt for a straight 350 I'd assume the straight 350's were the same

350C Ripper

Any one know if the 3100 ripper provides rear mounting points for the standard (no backhoe) 350C loader ROPS.The parts book calls for the same ROPS with or without a ripper. The ripper mounting brackets bolt to the back of the finals , which is where the ROPS brackets would go. The ripper masts appe...

Ive tried several salvage yards. I called Wengers they said they had a set and I even saw the machine in for salvage on their website. I even gave them a cc number to hold them. Once I got to Wengers none of the parts people could find the rock guards!! Then they finnally said "Oh we sold the track ...

The guards are unique to a 350C Loader, (late Bs too i think). These machines have a sprocket counterweight which shortens the guard compared to a dozer without them
