steering valve seals and spools

Guys, thanks a lot for the input. I have been using the manual for all adjustments and it is good to know the seals are oriented correctly. I wasn’t able to find the sweet spot for the valve spool travel, by manual direction, so I did it finally by trial and error. Which setting felt just right, ste...

350c track tension adjuster cover

Hi guys, the track tension adjustor cover has long ago rusted off the unit and I am getting worn out by constant cleaning of spring and cylinder. I was thinking of getting some stove pipe, or similar tube stock, and cutting down for fitting to the unit. Does anyone have some other ideas? Thanks DD

i just looked at 350c parts for your assembly and i dont know if they are the same. if they are similar i suspect that the excessive tourque and stress on the steel bracket has probaly led to the dogbone failure and has probably tourqued the pin, and caps, and pin housing severely out of alighnment ...

parts diagram

i would strongly suggest you check out the online parts diagrams and make sure you dont have any retaining rings, clips, pins, bushing etc that might be the problem. if there are none- you might just have to 'worry' it out with a deadblow or brass hammer.dd

350c steering valve adjustment

folks, I have just rebuilt my steering valves on a 350C with new seals, O rings and springs. They are adjusted and it works OK but i am wondering if anyone has adjusted the travel on the vlaves by just measuring the travel distance of the valves from the housing? It seems this would be easier than w...

broken pin

your broken pin looks more like a broken mounting bracket. you might be able to remove the back hoe attachement and take the braket off and take it to a local welder for a quick fix. this part has great stress on it and i would suspect there are other fractures on the swing arm brackets that could b...
